2018 Holden Commodore Tourer – end of year wrap-up review

It’s pretty clear now that calling the replacement for the Australian built Comodore the ‘new Commodore’ was a mistake, but the cars themselves are pretty good as large cars go. The Tourer is the high riding version of the Commodore wagon, and with all wheel drive and 235kW of power it’s a good fit for the outdoor activities crowd.

The ride quality is still a touch too harsh but when you hustle the car along a winding road it supplies a good amount of fun. The power adjustable drivers seat has a backrest that provides little lateral support and the interior materials look and feel low rent. The massive glass roof with huge sliding section is impressive though.
